THE countdown is over!
All roads will be leading to Old Hararians Sports Club as the venue hosts the inaugural Sunshine City Festival.
The event will be hosted over two days.
Organisers, Tamba Events, yesterday showed all the necessary clearances, including the all-importat police clearance, they have secured for the festival.
Show director, Nigel Chinovhiringa, said:
“Everything is set, the event is going ahead as planned and we have secured both the police and health protocols clearances in time to host the event.
“There are no fears with regards to the time frames as that has also been dealt with accordingly.
“The Sunshine City Festival is going ahead as planned and all the artists, fun run and entertainment will be rolled out as initially planned.”
Superstar Jah Prayzah will lead an army of artists, including Mokoomba, Selmor Mtukudzi, ExQ and Jah Signal for the first day tonight.
DJ Fantan and his Chillspot Family will also provide cover as opening acts this evening.
Winky D will headline the second night at the same venue.
He will share the stage with Killer T, Bazooker, Master H and Bling 4, among other acts.
Patrons are allowed to take in a limited number of alcohol in their coolers.
Gates will open around midday.
