TINO Kadewere has described his just-ended season as one to forget.

The Olympique Lyon striker exclusively told H-Metro he was looking forward to starting all over again.

“It’s been a rough patch for me, with the injuries and all, which affected my form.

“It’s a season I would want to easily forget and look forward to the coming season.

“But, I can’t complain much, right now I just need to rest and spend some time with my family,” he said.

After a decent first season in the French top-flight, where he made 33 appearances and scored 10 goals, while providing three assists, things have not been easy for him.

The forward says they’re still to have a meeting with the Lyon management on the way forward.

The Warriors star still has two years on his contract with Lyon.

“My handlers will have a meeting in Lyon soon but I still have a contract with them.

“Yes, there are other offers and I’m not at liberty to say the names.

“But, there are two EPL teams, one from Russia and one from Germany.

“So, for now, I can’t comment much since there’s really nothing much to talk about,” he said.

Kadewere joined Lyon in July 2020 after a spell at Le Havre, where he made 47 league appearances, scoring 25 goals and providing eight assists.
