GOSPEL song bird Agatha Mhurudzwa is set to launch her 10th album called The Living Word while celebrating 15 years in the ministry.
Mhurudzwa said all the 10 songs on her album are biblical inspired and there is no social commenting on them.
“We are going to launch my album in Harare on September 28 and the next day in Mutare.”
She added that she wanted to appreciate the hard work done by Gibson Makumbe in making the album a success.
She said the album was had been released but they were avoiding selling DVDs as they are waiting to do so at the album launch.
“Due to piracy we are planning to start selling our DVDs on the album launch day so that we might get something out of our hard work.
“We are aiming at maximising our sales on this album and raise funds that will help us in recording more music.
“People may wonder why we sell the word of God, hence we are telling them that for the work of God to move forward we need money,” Mhurudzwa said.
“Music is our only source of income therefore we should get something out of it and I’m sure it’s not a sin as we are working for it.
“We are not saying piracy guys are bad but what we are doing is safeguarding what is rightfully ours and they can have their chance after us.”
