DOTITO Growth Point today hosts the Anti-Sanctions Music Concert and an array of local musicians will alternate under one roof as they perform during the mega show.

It starts at 6pm and ends at 6am tomorrow.

The event will be held under the theme “Harnessing the Youth for Accelerated Socio-Economic Development in the Fight Against Sanctions.”

Suluman Chimbetu, Sandra Ndebele and reigning Sungura Artist of the Year Mark Ngwazi, will lead the commemorations.

Energetic performer, Chief Hwenje, will get another opportunity to rekindle his love affair with fans in Mashonaland Central.

The Chillspot Family (DJ Fantan, Ribhe and Levels), Jah Master and Jah Signal will be representing the Zim dancehall genre.

Simon Mutambi, Romeo Gasa and Clemence Magwaza will give sungura fans something to cheer their spirits.

Dorcas Moyo is expected to bless the event with her gospel tunes.

Anti-Sanctions Day commemorations are held every October 25 and this has been the case since 2019.

It was endorsed by African leaders, in their solidarity with Zimbabwe, as the country continues to battle the illegal sanctions imposed on her.

Judging by the line-up, the musical promises fireworks.

Ngwazi, who has never performed in Mt Darwin, has promised a show to remember.

“I have never performed there in my career and we do promise surprises to our fans.

“I am going to leave an impression in Dotito where I have never performed.

“I can’t wait for this moment to come,” he said.

Seasoned performer, Sandra Ndebele, is set to add variety at the event.

“I am coming in full force for this event,” she said.
