ALL is set for the Rainbow Netball League third annual awards ceremony set for tomorrow in Harare.
RANL, which has over 12 teams, will be rewarding the clubs, and individuals, who excelled during the 2021 season.
The awards could not be held last year, soon after the season ended, owing to some Covid-19 disturbances.
RANL vice secretary, Precious Mudenge, confirmed the development.
“As RANL, we are happy to cap the 2021 season with the awards, this weekend.
“It was not easy but we managed to squeeze our fixtures into two months.
“We could not hold the awards last year because of the Covid cases, which were reported in our league, and we continue to take precautions and we are following the guidelines.”
RANL is sponsored by Glow Petroleum, who through its managing director Aaron Chinhara, has pledged to continue supporting netball.
The league will honour the Player, Coach and Rookie of the Year, Golden Hand and Most Disciplined Team.
