AFTER weeks of anxiety among Ammara Brown’s fans, the talented diva’s big night beckons as she meets her fans at Club 1+1 this evening.
Ammara’s invitation comes after she was endorsed as one of the finest songbirds among the crop of youthful divas by a local promotions stable.
Without fear or favour, Ammara has been consistent along with fellow divas like Cindy Munyavi, Tamy among others.
And tonight’s show is a bit special to Ammara as she as she gets intimate with her fans.
Not only will Ammara get intimate with fans, she will also be selling her merchandise at the show, courtesy of D.T.L Records.
Dubbed One Night Stand, Ammara shares the stage with revered club wheel-spinner DJ Storm, DJ Towers, Zimboy, Maccus Mafia along with other resident wheel-spinners and emcees.
However, it should be mentioned the night belongs to Ammara whose stock continue to rise with each passing year.
“We have been criticised for not promoting female artistes especially the crop of young divas who are making news abroad yet locally they are not recognised.
“Initially, we were a bit skeptical when we hosted and we were proved wrong. On the second occasion, we hosted Tamy who has been touring Europe and again we were really impressed. This time around on Friday (tonight) we decided to host Ammara and the response is amazing 1,” said D.TL spokesperson DJ Simmz.
“Bouyed by the success of some of her projects, we are looking forward to the show. She needs to keep on doing more collaborations that will help her to spread her brand to all age groups.
“At this event dubbed One Night Stand, it’s a night fans will get to witness Ammara perform live in a club.”
“Fans will have to fork out $5 for the ordinary tickets and $10 for VIP respectively.
Gates will be opened at 8pm.
Meanwhile, the holds the UP Town Sundays slot at Inaki’s Meat Lounge.
Legendary Sound led by Smilie will be in charge along with D.TL DJs and emcees SIMMZ, Kent, MC Tats and Big Dollar Bruce are set to perform at the event.
This particular slot starts at 3pm and admission is free.
