Mhangura based upcoming Zimdancehall musician Kelvin “kuku Master” Mkwaila has challenged fellow upcoming artistes to embrace new technology if they are to survive in this Covid-19 era.
In an interview, Kuku Master said upcoming musicians need to invest in technology by embracing online platforms.
“In light of Covid-19, musicians especially upcoming ones, need to consider taking the online route to market their music, failure to do so will result in some promising works dying a natural death,” he said.
Kuku Master challenged fellow musicians to continue fighting against Covid-19 through composing songs in different dialects to cater for the whole nation.
“In as far as upcoming artists might want to embrace new technologies they need support from sponsors as they are poorly resourced,” he said.
