BABA Harare reckons his forth-coming sixth album titled Vaccine will provide the cure to those in despair during these terrible times of Covid-19.
The 32-year-old says he has been busy in the studio putting together new music.
In an interview with H-Metro Entertainment & Lifestyle, Baba Harare said he was already working on visuals to complement his audios.
“I have never stopped working on new music even during the first lockdown which was scary even though I made sure I observed all the Covid-19 protocols.
“I have realised that people have been going through a lot where they need a cure in form of jiti music.
“This album is just what fans have been waiting for during the Covid-19 induced lockdown even though the restrictions have been relaxed,” he said.
The Masvingo bred crooner said he would not rest of his laurels until he find his own groove.
“On this album engaged three producers namely Nyasha Timbe, Maselo and Gibson Makumbe to come up with a polished project.
“The track list comprise Fight my battle(Vaccine), Ex Tsano featuring Suluman Chimbetu, Mucherechedzo featuring Darula, Champagne Yagogo, Nditarire Nekufara and Wemberi Wemberi featuring Joseph Tivafire and Kae Chaps.
“Nyasha Timbe produced Mucherechedzo and Champagne Yagogo while Makumbe did Fight My Battle and Wemberi Wemberi.
“The last two songs Ex Tsano and Nditarire Nekufara were done by Maselo,” he added.
Besides Vaccine, Baba Harare’s catalogue comprise Chikwama Changu and Munamato yarasta (the reason why) both released in 2017.
In the year 2018, he released Ramba Wakadzvanya, Generator (2019), Izvi Zvinoitirwei Izvi released last year.
In between, Baba Harare who went solo in 2017 after leaving Jah Prayzah’s camp has a series of singles.
These comprise Automatically (l deliver sugar), Samatenga, Yellow bone, Rita featuring Mai Titi and Mitoro featuring Kubatakwashe Choral Group.
