Nigerian songbird Teniola “Teni” Apata has urged fellow Zimbabwean artistes to be open for strategic collaborations for their music to break new markets and reach new borders.
Teni, who is popular for hit songs like Wait, Askamaya and Case, has picked several accolades over the years.
In an interview with H-Metro, Teni said:
“It is important for artistes to be open to strategic collaborations.
“Artistes should cultivate mutually beneficial and positive relationships with your other artistes for their music and brands to grow and reach a different audience.
“They should also be persistent and be consistent with their music.”
Meanwhile, Teni has released a news song titled Jo.
The refreshing song is already on rotation on some of the local radio stations.
“My new song “Jo” is a feel-good song.
“Jo means to dance and it makes me feel good.
“It has been a crazy year and I hope it makes others feel happy.
“I hope it will makes other dance, and I hope it brings people closer to their loved ones, “she said.
