INNOCENT Benza, the oldest player in the Castle Lager Premiership, scored his first league goal in five years only for Herentals to lose 1-2 to Hwange at the National Sports Stadium yesterday.
The 51-year-old forward powered his team, who are known as the Students, into the lead with a powerful shot hit with the outside of his right foot.
He is now probably the oldest player to score in a top-flight league match in Southern Africa.
Courage Sibanda then hit the winner with just four minutes left in the match.
