THE inaugural Africa Business Seminar and Gala Dinner is set to take place on Friday in Harare.
The event, entitled “Africa One Identity” aims to bring together African entrepreneurs, traders and businesspeople to network and discuss growth and trade in Africa, with a particular focus on small businesses.

Founder, Kelelo Dhlamini-Skade, said the event has generated “total excitement” and that people from across the continent have expressed their interest to take part.
The event will feature speakers on topics which include trade, creating networks, mental wellness and health.
“Our theme reminds us that simple daily acts of unity, sharing and imparting knowledge will forever enable Africans to establish, maintain and create wealth among themselves,” said Kelelo.
“We have invited SMME’s, corporates, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, traders, including anyone interested in discussing small business, growth and trade in Africa and beyond.
“This platform opens doors for networking, business trades, information sharing and growth.
“The event will be offering an experience and exposure to vibrant entrepreneurs, seasoned businessmen and women, and small businesses, among others.”
She added: “Our aim is to encourage small businesses to know each other and to help each other grow.
“Tickets are being sold at the Harare Hotel Club and we urge businesspeople to buy tables so that they can exhibit their businesses to a bigger audience.”
