HIGHLANDERS appear to mean business this season.

Lynoth Chikuhwa and Brighton Ncube scored in each half to power Bosso to victory at Bata Stadium yesterday as Kelvin Kaindu continued with his unbeaten start to the campain.

Highlanders are tied on points with log leaders FC Platinum.

The match started at a fast pace, with both teams seeking the early advantage.

After 10 minutes, TelOne came close to scoring through an Eriya Marirenyika header that was cleared off the line by an alert Bosso defence.

Five minutes later,  Andrew Mbeba came in with a timely intervention to deny TelOne striker Blessing Sibanda a clear run on goal after a defence splitting pass from Blessing Sahondo.

After the half hour mark, Bosso started piling on the pressure on TelOne with several raids with Chikuhwa’s beautiful runs tormenting the TelOne defence.

Chikuhwa scored at the stroke of half-time to give Bosso the lead.

After the interval, Bosso continued to show their intent of scoring more goals and in the 55th minute, Godfrey Makaruse hit the upright with TelOne goalkeeper Matripples Muleya beaten.

Brighton Ncube scored his first Premiership goal for Highlanders in the 63rd minute to secure maximum points.

Hundreds of Bosso fans invaded the Midlands capital to support their team.
