HIGHLANDERS winger Gabriel Nyoni says they are looking forward to break their curse of failing to score in away games when they face Shabanie at Maglas tomorrow.
Bosso have failed to score in their last three away games.
They lost 1-0 to Mutare City, 2-0 to ZPC Kariba before a 0-0 draw against CAPS United.
Nyoni said they have rectified their mistakes and are looking forward to a positive result.
“We haven’t been scoring in our away games off late and we are looking forward to start changing the situation.
“We have been working on rectifying that and I think we are going to start yielding results from this game.
“We are planning to score goals and win this game,” said Nyoni.
Nyoni said they are targeting nothing less than a win though they are not underrating Shabanie.
“We just want a win, nothing less. The game will still be difficult, since we will be playing a team that is still in the premiership.
“We are not looking down upon Shabanie, we know they will not let us get the win easily. We last lost to Mutare City away from home also and we don’t want to make the same blander.
“This win will be a morale booster for us. We lost our last game against Harare City and we draw with CAPS, so we really need to win this one to regain the energy,” he added.
Nyoni said they are still targeting a top four finish, which he said it is still very much within reach.
Highlanders are five points behind Triangle who occupy fourth position.
“Getting maximum points will help us get closer to our top four finish target and it will motivate us to keep on pressing to the end.
“A top four finish is still achievable, mathematically, we are closer and we can do it.
“It’s for seeable,” he said.
