Unstoppable all-female group Breeze Music is tomorrow set to launch an accompanying video to the song Nobody But Jesus.
The group, which topped the local charts with the song Masasai, insist they won’t stop to impress their fans.
One of the troupe’s directors, Nyaradzo “Advovo” Maphosa said the new video is a short jazzy song originally sung in acapella by a US music group.
“Breeze brought a funky Blues/ Jazz vibe to the old classic song.
“The Instruments were spontaneously created by the Breeze Band live in Studio.
“Nobody but Jesus is part of the album A Breeze Story and is featured as a bonus track on the Masaisai single which was launched in March of this year to a resounding welcome.
“The girls promise an energetic video with a touch of class which should leave audiences placing it on replay,” she said.
Breeze Music, which continues to do very well on the local charts with Masaisai and Kutemberi, a collabo with Dr Tawanda Benson, seems determined with their musical journey.
“We are taking our fans back to yesteryear by their delightful consistent retro look on our videos. “We generally feature natural hair which encourage living a life as close to nature as possible,” she added.
In another interview, Melody “Mels” Muvuti said they have much in store for their fans as the year draws towards the end.
“We will be releasing another collabo with Nelcy- B, a talented young lady not new to the gospel music scene in Zimbabwe.
“An EP is also in the making and should be out on the streets before long.
“It will premiere on Friday 6pm.
“Every Sundays we host a Facebook live, The Catch Up show in which we will be meeting our fans where we will be discussing social topics.
“So far we have talked virginity, is it important before marriage, forgiveness after being cheated partners, child marriages, what if a woman is earning more, is it okay.
“So we touch on different topics,” Mels.
The group also has Sharon ‘Shaz’ Govha and Bekezela’Becky’ Moyo.
