ELDERLY people at Bromley Elderly People’s Home had a day to remember when they recently received a donation thanks to the organisers of the US “Summer Out ATL” event.
The donation, which included clothes, shoes and jerseys, was made by DELLRO Covers Company who represented Summer Out ATL.
The “Summer Out ATL” event held its maiden show in Atlanta in August took some of the show proceeds and donated to Bromley Elderly’s home.
Pastor Blessing Muchena of Greater Grace Ministry graced the event and held a short church service with the elderly before the distribution was done.
Apart from the donation, DELLRO Covers team also had lunch with the elderly.
Speaking to H-Metro, DELLRO Covers representative, Ronald Mpaso, said:
“We are humbled by such a great deed and would like to thank Summer Out ATL for the donations they made.
“We also want to thank DJ One Beat, who is part of Summer Out ATL who played a great part to make sure that we here in Zimbabwe got the donations.
“I am, quite sure we managed to put smiles across the face of these people as they all managed to get something.
“Our thanks also go to Pastor Muchena who prayed and preached for the elderly people.
“We pray and hope in the coming years we can give more and support more homes.”
