Bulawayo Chiefs coach Thulani Sibanda says they have just started preparing for the forthcoming season.
Chiefs have not been active on the transfer market and Sibanda says they are still looking at potential players to strengthen their squad.
“We have just started our training as we are now preparing for the upcoming season.
“For the past weeks the squad was just focusing on light training methods but now we are ready to do most of the required training needed for us to prepare for this season.
“Now we are just waiting on other slots to fill in our squad especially players who will be offloaded.
“So far we just have two additions from Chicken Inn in our squad, Ben Nyahunzvi and John Benard who were released with their club.
“And also we are looking at our best developmental players to also join the first team.
“Our budget will determine how many players we want to bring in for the upcoming season,” said Sibanda.
He said if the whole team is finalised that’s when he will determine their ambitions for the 2020 PSL season.
“I cannot really comment now about what we want to achieve at the end of the season.
“At the moment I just want to build my team and prepare them for this season and after that will talk about our targets.
“As for pre- season games we will play them after we finalised the whole squad,” said Sibanda.
