Kayse Connect, the organisers of the Burnaboy show have confirmed the postponement of the show after the ban on mass gatherings due to COVID-19.
In a statement, Elton Kurima said they will abide by the decision by government but will still hold the show at a later date,
“We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the support received towards BURNABOY live in concert which was set to take place in Harare on the 17th of April 2020.
“In accordance to the press release shared earlier by the Presidential office, the second edition of IKONIC CHRONICLES concert headlined by BURNABOY which was scheduled for the 17th next month has been postponed.
“A big Thank you to all our sponsors and patrons. A later date shall be announced through our media channels and other supporting platforms.
“In the meantime we encourage you all to practice health measures according to the WHO set standards.
“Thank you for your unwavering support. Stay safe and God Bless,” said Kurima.
