Zim dancehall sensation Seh Calaz is expected to unite chanters as he holds a charity gig at the Harare Gardens on February 28.
Dubbed Bholato Bholato, the gig will see top chanters like Killer T, Kinnah, Freeman, Freeman, Dadza D, Hwindi Prezident, Guspy Warrior, Celsius, Massina, Silent Killer and Tipsy Mubhanditi among will take turns to entertain fans courtesy of Boss Gaga.
TiGonzi who recently scooped the award of best male artiste at the just ended Star FM awards is also part of the bill.
In an interview, Seh Calaz’s publicist King George Damson said the show seek to unite musicians and fans.
“The gig is also a perfect opportunity to bring together the Zimdancehall top dogs, something that doesn’t happen often these days.
“There is more that unites us than divide us.
“The show is significant in that for us to be what we are as artists, it is the fans that made us.
“We want to thank them for being with through thick and thin,” he said.
“We chose Harare Gardens because it’s a famous and ideal outdoor event venue and also has good memories of some of our performances there.
“It is also a hit central for most fans.”
Similar sentiments were echoed by Seh Calaz recently bagged five gongs at the Zim dancehall awards which were held recently.
“The show is on and as I promise the fans a night of great music and fun.
“The Convicts Band will be in full force and will showcase how far we have come.
“I will be taking my latest album to the people and also thanking fans for voting for me.
“I scooped five awards and it gives me a zeal to continue doing better.
“I have more to offer in the music industry,” he said.
King George also told this publication that he prays for the good weather come the day.
“We hope it doesn’t rain but all in all we will make sure there are contingencies in place.
“A number of sponsors are on board, too many to mention but the power behind is Boss Gaga,” he said.
Top wheel spinners and emcees who are expected to give cover include DJ Fleva, Etherton Beenie, Templeman, Garry B, Abisha, DJ Mbale and DJ Cables among others.
