CAPS United chief executive, Cuthbert Chitima has revealed that the Green Machine will not make changes to the squad during the midseason transfer window.

While other teams like Dynamos, Yadah, Black Rhinos, Bulawayo Chiefs, Triangle and Shabanie Mine have indicated they intend to beef up their squads, Chitima believes CAPS United have a strong squad at the moment.

CAPS United are 15 points adrift of the log leaders FC Platinum.

“We are satisfied with the players we have at the club and we have concluded that there are no players that are going to be added or dropped.

“The club is still in the race for the league title, we do have the chance to upset the Platinum teams at the top of the log because 15 points is a very small gap that can be easily reduced so we have not given up on the title.

“We want this year’s title,” said Chitima.

Chitima has dismissed the rumors that Denver Mukamba might go back to Dynamos.

“As I have indicated that there are no players that we are dropping or adding, it means that Denver will finish with us this season, so those reports are not true.

“Our team is intact so we are maintaining it since it is a strong team,” he said.
