MUSICIAN Carlos Green has appointed former Jah Prayzah’s keyboardist Biggie Katuka as his manager.
In an interview with H-Metro, the Vane Mari Vauya boss described Katuka as a hard working individual, who will help him excel in his music career.
“I have known Biggie as a hard worker and focused man, thirsty for success and from the day he started working with me, he has already organised about 10 events, including shows.
“He does travelling and events planning part-time and these categories work hand-in-hand with music.”
Carlos said his professional relationship with Katuka dates back to 2013 when they starred in the same video.
“I first met him in Kariba when we both featured on Jah Prayzah’s video titled Hello.
“Afterwards, we started talking and building our relationship until now.”
Katuka said he was excited about the partnership.
“I see Carlos as someone who is passionate and has potential to be the best artiste hence we will work with him with the main aim of going forward so that we reach very far,” he said
“Carlos Green has been performing mostly in Harare but I would like many people, from different parts of the nation, to know his music.
“There is a lot to be improved on the VMV brand and it’s my belief that two minds, working together, can bring the best results.
“I am sure that we will go far.
“In terms of the events that I do in resort areas, my burden has been lessened because instead of looking for musicians to perform. I will feature my artiste Carlos Green in all events.
“For now, our first show is on the 26th of January which is Carlos Green’s birthday, and we have plenty lined up afterwards.”
