LOS ANGELES. – If you believe in social media, where just about everything goes, you will be one of those who feel that superstar musician, Celine Dion, is wasting away.
That’s’ what her ghostly image, which flooded social media platforms recently, appeared to suggest. Well, the reality is that it’s quite far away from the truth.
The Canadian diva is actually looking happy and healthy in her most recent Instagram post.
Less than a year after the Grammy Award winner revealed her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome, Céline took to Instagram recently to document a night out with her kids to see an NHL hockey game in Las Vegas.
As she posed in the Vegas Golden Knights’ hockey room with her oldest son Rene-Charles and twin sons Nelson and Eddy (she shares them with her late husband Rene Angelil), she shared how much she enjoyed spending time with her boys doing something they all loved.
“My boys and I had such a fun time visiting with the Montreal Canadiens after their hockey game with Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas Monday night,” she wrote.
“They played so well, what a game!
“Thank you for meeting us after the game, guys! That was memorable for all of us. Have a great season! — Celine xx.”
Given how Céline’s night out was her first public appearance in a while, fans were thrilled to see it.
Naturally, they flooded her comments section with words of adoration and support
The singer posted an emotional Instagram video in December 2022, revealing that she was battling the rare progressive condition that the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) says can cause stiff muscles throughout the body and cause a higher sensitivity to noises and touch, leading to muscle spasms.
The Stiff Person Syndrome Foundation also notes that the condition can affect the central nervous system, which includes the brain and the spinal cord. – GH
