Three Zim dancehall chanters Guspy Warrior, Celsius and Ninja Minister have been accused of leaking songs off a riddim produced at Bad Company Studios.
Titled One Hour, the riddim is expected to hit the market on Thursday but three of the songs have already leaked in pubs.
Celsius features on the riddim with the song No under 18, Guspy Warrior with Blow Job while Ninja Minister did the track Chighetto Ghetto
H-Metro moles said the accused chanters are feeling the heat after Soul Jah Love’s song Ukadenha Mangwiro – off the One Hour riddim – was used as a promotional track.
“Soul Jah Love’s promotional track was pre released and it’s being used to hype the riddim and everyone knows that.
“I am confident Soul Jah Love’s song will be a hit in few days after the release.
“Guspy Warrior, Celcious and Ninja Minister felt the heat and decided to leak their own songs so that they gain ground.
“The riddim will be launched on Zi FM Stereo this Saturday by DJ Flevah and Etherton,” said the source.
Contacted for comment, One Hour riddim producer, Farai “Phabb” Mangwende confirmed the incident and urged chanters to remain focused.
“It’s true the songs leaked but I am not sure why they did it.
“Soul Jah Love’s song for sure it’s a must listen.
“We are planning to drop the compilation riddim this Thursday and all the artistes on this riddim did well,” he said.
Guspy Warrior told this publication that he is not aware about the allegations.
“Ah King I am not sure about this issue.
“When there is something good people don’t stop talking about it.
“Maybe they are trying to hype the riddim but I am confident the song will win hearts of many,” he said.
The Norton based chanter Celsius said he is not aware of the song’s rotation.
“Do you have the song, it’s not yet out.
“Who told you that it’s out?” he said.
Some of the names on this riddim include Ras Pompy, Dobba Don, Chigogodera, Ryder Marcus, I Wattah and Shooter Star.
