DESPITE a win over Shabanie Mine at Ascot on Sunday to move out of the relegation zone, Chapungu coach Rodwell Dhlakama believes they are yet to guarantee relegation survival.
Chapungu edged the struggling Shabanie Mine 1-0, a win that gave them a little hope of surviving as they moved to position 11 on the log.
“Yes we are happy with a win but it`s not helping us to ease our relegation battle, we still have a lot coming,” said Dhlakama.
“Of course we have moved to position 11 but we are only two points better than a team in the drop zone so we are still under danger.
“We are happy that we managed to collect maximum points from them (Shabanie) home and away, a clear indication that our strategy worked against them.
Dhlakama refused pressure ahead of tough fixtures.
“We are facing top clubs in our next two fixtures and I don’t consider them tough schedules because we just need to maximize our chances,” he said.
“Playing Chibuku and the league does not give us any pressure at all, we have many players registered and currently all our players are fit.
