NGEZI Platinum striker Michael Charamba has started training after a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.
Charamba, who was away for nine months, started training last week.
Speaking to H-Metro yesterday, the speedy forward said he is happy to be back after being away for such a long time.
“I am happy to be back and I have started training. I can now say that l am fit to play.
“I have just recovered and I am now back in full training. I think I am now ready to play after having been away for so long,” he said.
“Being away hasn’t been easy but I’m relieved that I am now okay.
“It’s always nice to be back on the field. I just thank God that I am now okay and doing what I love, which is playing.
“And I think when the season starts I will be fully fit and ready to compete.
The 2018 Soccer Star of the year finalist said he can’t wait for the season to begin.
“I’m just praying that nothing will happen, I’m not God but, I’m now ready and looking forward to play.
“Playing football excites me and I can’t wait to return to the field,” he said.
