CLOTHING vendors accommodated at Harare Central Police Station who were ordered to vacate over a security threat have vowed to remain at the Charge Office Flea Market until an alternative place is found.
They feel duped after the law enforcement agents failed to give them enough time to pack their belongings and find alternative places of business.
Most of the vendors who were occupying inner tables yesterday displayed their goods along Robson Manyika Avenue.
“We not going anywhere. Kana ndimiwo todii nevana ndipo patanga tichiraramira ipapa,” said one of the vendors displaying her goods.
One of the onlookers said police failed to stamp their authority on vendors saying most of the affected vendors include police officers.
