Talent Chawapiwa says he cannot wait to play his debut match for his new club.
The Sekhukhune winger had to wait for his debut because of his permit which is now finalized.
“I’m happy that I now get to play for my new team. I couldn’t play because of permit issues but all is now settled. I now have a permit.
“So I can now feature for my new team and I’m so excited that the wait is finally over. I couldn’t wait longer for this moment and I’m excited.
“It’s something that I was looking forward to and I’m happy for the opportunity,” he said.
“Yeah it’s fun here and I’m enjoying my time. And it’s like home because of my other Zimbabwean friends here, so we will be helping each other and stuff.
“I would like to thank the management, coaching staff, and my teammates for helping me.”
The former Amazulu star says his target is to help his new team achieve its targets.
“I’m working towards being a better player each day. I want to do well for my team and help them achieve their targets.
“I’ve been working hard to make sure that I’m in shape and I’m hopeful for an injury free season.
“I want to be able to do the best I can for my team because they’ve shown that they believe in me and I wouldn’t want to disappoint them,” he said.
