ACE music promoter, Partson “Chipaz”  Chimbodza, says he believes in sharing and changing the lives of the less privileged people.

He made this revelation ahead of his charity football match, dubbed Chipaz Bhora, to be held at Dzivaresekwa Stadium on April 1.

The event will coincide with KHD boss Freeman’s homecoming party at the same venue.

Freeman is the pride of Dzivaresekwa, where he started his career, after moving from Bindura in search of new opportunities.

Prior to the main event, social soccer matches will be played during the day where music musicians Sungura and Zim dancehall artists will showcase their talents.

“When I was young, I was helped to be where I am by a number of people.

“As a successful businessman, and music promoter, it is my duty to empower others who need my help.

“In my case, I have been empowering musicians over the years and I will not stop helping them as long as I am still alive.

“I would like to be remembered as a promoter who had a good heart to assist others who needed help,” he said.

Chipaz, who is famed for promoting Zim dancehall, said he enjoyed working with Freeman. “Freeman is one of the guys who have always supported my vision as a promoter.

“I feel happy that I will be supporting and promoting his homecoming gig in DZ.

“Freeman is a humble artist who has been evolving over the years. It’s every promoter’s wish to be associated with hard workers.”

Chipaz urged fans to show up in numbers for the charity event. Over the years, Chipaz has bailed out struggling artists as well as donating to charity.
