NORTHERN Region side Harare City Cubs coach Kelvin Togarasei said they are now playing to end in top five leaving their relegation survival target behind following his players’ continuous splendid performance in every passing game.
The team has managed to beat the army side Blue Swallows 1-0 in their 17th game through their striker Tapiwa Mudehwe at Dzivarasekwa on Saturday.
The team which only wanted to avoid relegation has find itself among the top five teams in the league, all thanks to the players performance which Togarasei described as good.
“I am very happy with my player’s performance, they have been doing very well.
“We have nothing to worry about especially in terms of relegation.
“As for our target to avoid relegation, it’s all water under the bridge now as we are now gunning to end in top five,” he said.
Togarasei also give praise to Blue Swallows, who gave the young stars a good run for their money, however, failed to utilise their chances.
“The army side played very well and have managed to create many chances however they were not able to finish well,” he said.
“I want to pray to the Almighty that we can keep on winning all our challenges and maintain our new status to finish in to five,” he said.
