City woman loses valuables to robbers

AN Aspindale Park woman was assaulted and lost her valuables to robbers while looking for transport in Kambuzuma on Monday.

Ndaizivei Sadowera (38) was forced to surrender her Huawei cellphone, a satchel with various clothes, a plastic dish and various groceries to three unidentified men.

Ndaizivei was in the company of Denzel Dhlola who is her employer’s son along V-Lane Road, near a Catholic Church in Kambuzuma Section 5, at around 0445hrs.

Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case and appealed for information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects.

“Police are investigating a robbery case involving a woman in Kambuzuma,” said Insp Chakanza.

“Circumstances are that on Monday, at around 0445 hours, complainant and Denzel were looking for transport to Mbare when the accused persons, who were in a motor vehicle, stopped their   vehicle.

“One of the accused persons disembarked from the vehicle, approached them and demanded valuables before the other two accused persons also disembarked from the vehicle.

“They assaulted the complainant and Denzel with open hands several times all over the body.

“The woman was forced to surrender their valuables,” said Insp Chakanza.
