US-BASED jazz sensation, Clare Nyakujara, is making waves following the release of her latest single titled Harare.
The track, which combines traditional African beats with modern hip-hop influences, has been praised for its catchy hooks.
It gives people worldwide a tour through Harare without actually riding around.
In an interview with H-Metro, she said:
“I am feeling incredibly grateful and honoured to have worked on the Harare project with two of the most prominent producers, Oscar Chamba and Macdee Chidavaenzi.
“There are two versions of Harare, the single which was released on the 6th of October, and the remix by Macdee.”
Claire remains optimistic about the future of Zimbabwean music.
“I believe that if we work together and support each other, we can achieve great things.
“I’m honoured to be part of this vibrant and dynamic music scene, and I hope to inspire others to follow their dreams.
“Harare is available now on all major stream platforms.”
Clare is one of Zimbabwe’s exports doing very well abroad.
A known figure in jazz circles back home, Clare was a regular at most festivals in Harare, especially the Jazz Winter Festival.
She left Harare to settle in the United States.
