JAH Prayzah, Winky D and Nutty O, will alternate under one roof tomorrow at the Harare International Conference in what can pass as the “Clash of the Titans” in showbiz.

Dubbed “Redefined Concert @ HICC”, the show comes at a time when the most sought-after trio has been doing wonders, both locally and beyond our borders.

Gateway Stream Music is behind the show.

And, being one of the major highlights of the weekend, this encounter comes at a time when the trio is redefining the showbiz terrain.

While Jah Prayzah and Winky D are tried-and-tested performers, who have filled HICC before,  the inclusion of Nutty O has since raised the appeal of the event.

Nutty O, now a regular on the winners’ podium, will be out to silence all the doubting Thomases and prove he has matured, when it comes to both  songwriting  and performance.

The Mbare bred chanter, who has invested a lot in a live band, is tipped to win the hearts of new fans as he takes his audience-building mission to another level. A polished performance is all that he needs to complement the purple patch the chanter enjoys.

Winky D, who treats the stage as the CEO’s office, is also expected to give fans real value for their money.

Backed by the superb Vigilance Band, the Kambuzuma-bred chanter is no doubt a passion performer, known for leaving fans clamouring for more. As for Jah Prayzah, it’s yet another platform where he is set to cement his romance with loyal fans who have been there for him from humble beginnings.

The lanky performer, who continues to reinvent the wheel, has never disappointed at HICC, which has become his fortress over the years.

In an interview, Gateway Stream Music manager, Elton Kurima, said it was all systems go.

“We have done all the groundwork  for the Redefined Concert @ HICC, which has since attracted a lot of attention.

“We are really happy with the uptake of advance tickets, which are selling like hot cakes.

“The advance tickets are pegged at US$20 for the ordinary seat and US$50 for VIP.

“We have done everything in terms of security to ensure our fans are safe from rogue bouncers who have become a menace,” he said.

Added Kurima. “As Gateway Stream Music, we have been longing to host such shows and the Redefined Concert is one of the gigs that we hope will certainly be the talk of the town.

“We are also happy that fans will be guaranteed quality at this show, which comes by public demand.

“This is a rare show where you get to see the trio performing under one roof and fans should come in numbers since variety is guaranteed here.”

Versatile club wheel-spinner, DJ Iroq, will   provide cover during intervals and short breaks. Popular emcees, Abisha Palmer  and KVG, will host the event.
