Chinhoyi University of Technology student Evidance Chipika who recently hosted his successful art exhibition says he is ready to conquer the world.
Dubbed “After Seasons”, the exhibition which was held at Blakiston Junior School focused on human life and the wonder nature provides.
In an interview, Chipika said he was encouraged by the support he got from local art followers.
“I am happy I managed to freely express myself and comment on serious issues affecting ordinary citizens every day.
“I expressed my thoughts and people loved my creativity and I chose to remain a student because I find inspiration everywhere I go,” said Chipika.
Chipika said he carries a desire to defy odds.
“I have a strong passion to defy norms that most creative artists possess, I want art lovers to discover knew things through me.
“Art has also made me bridge into other fields of design including furniture designs, sculpture, photography, painting and branding among others,” he added.
The 24-year-old who did his work related practice at Nhaka Leadership Solutions said his exhibition was also a summary of his four-year stay at CUT.
Some of the pieces that received much approval at the exhibition included Chipika’s pencil drawing of the late music icon Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi among others.
