…Nasty C praises Zim rapper
RAPPER King 98’s companionship with Davido continues to bear fruits as the Nigerian superstar is set to grace the former’s album launch slated for Wingate on May 1 in the capital.
Not only is Davido gracing the event but the Skelewu singer is also set to perform at the event where King 98 will be unveiling his much-anticipated debut album entitled, Francesca.
And what has also raised the appeal of King 98’s album is Nasty C’s inclusion which makes it a star-studded line-up.
Nasty C has also praised King 98 for his amazing talent.
The South African rapper last shared the stage with King 98 at the same venue last year during a charity show which attracted top rappers in Zimbabwe.
Besides Nasty C and Davido, recently Star FM awards biggest winner ExQ has been added into the line-up alongside Nadia Nakai, Tammy Moyo, Shashl, Union 5 and DJ Silence Dosh.
Show coordinator and event management guru, DJ SIMMZ who brokered the deal, said it was all system go.
“We are going ahead with King 98’s album launch which will culminate into a show on the 1st of May at Wingate Golf Club.
“Initially we wanted to hold it April but we decided to move it to May 1 after Davido asked to be included.”
SIMMZ said Davido linked up with King 98 when the former attended The If Singer’s recent show.
“King 98 and Davido are always in touch and their friendship is beginning to yield results.
“We hope will have quality time when he comes to perform.
“We also expect the same from Nasty C when he attends the album launch.
“It’s a show not to be missed since it defines King 98’s musical journey.”
King 98, who enjoys rave reviews with his duet with Davido, has since promised fireworks.
Born Ngoni Dondo, the affable rapper has been releasing a number of singles in his South Africa based.
Top South African rapper Casper Nyovest is on record having praised King 98 for his creative edge.
Fans will have to fork out US$10 for the rest of the ground, US$20 VIP and US$50 VVIP.
The show starts around midday and fans can also bring their cooler box, a rare set up with most shows being held locally.
This particular show comes at a time when Zim Hip and trap music have been endorsed by many.
And for those who want class, this is the show not to be missed.
A lot of give surprise acts are also expected at the event.
