“It was indeed a big stage, he (Davido) only called him and told Nigerian fans that we should love one another and that King 98 has passion for music and that his fans should also listen to King 98’s music,” he said.

DJ Simmz said he was also humbled by the hospitality they got from Davido during their stay in Lagos.

“He has been telling us to feel at home and he is always made sure we okay

“We have a lot lined up in 2020, we are going to keep raising Zimbabwean flag high,” he said.

Performance wise, DJ Simmz said King 98 had a good day in office  as he wowed a biggest crowd ever in his career.

“The stage was so big and he had never performed on such big stage but the moment he was introduced to come on the stage, he did put all his effort to give a fantastic performance

“This was a big event and we had thousands of people who were waiting to be entertained and all the artistes were there on time,” he added.

Davido and rapper King 98’s ‘bromance’ started last year when they collaborated on the song No Bad Vibes.

King 98, who has shared the stage with Davido before,  ended the high note after he shared the stage with his mentor.

It was also in Nigeria where he did a collabo with Davido’s mentee, Zlatan.

As it stands, Nigeria has almost become his second home as fans have embraced him.

And last weekend Nigerians showed him true love as he performed in Lagos.

The show also came at a time when King 98 had performed at sold out gigs in Mozambique, Zambia and South Africa.

Across the Limpopo, he held a series of sold out gigs with Nasty C under the Ivyson Tour banner.
