RISING music star Davitah Chimombe is simply unstoppable.
The South Africa based music is making great strides on the local music to win hearts of many following the overwhelming response of his two singles – Moyo Wangu and Deliwe’ – rocking the airwaves on the either side of the Limpopo.
At the turn of the year, Davitah – better known as Chitima Chenjanja – released his first titled Moyo wangu, which became an instant hit.
It was followed by Deliwe which has been endorsed by merry-makers at a triumph.
In an interview H-Metro Entertainment & Lifestyle, Davitah could not hide his elation following the success of his singles.
“You know being a son or daughter of a music legend, many things are expected of you and you are always in the shadow of your parents as you are constantly being compared to them. So you have to come up with a quality product which music fans must identify you with.
“But I am happy that my music has been well received and I am looking forward to producing more quality songs as I am not done yet.”
For the better part of the year, Davitah who has been working on his debut album Chakuma, said he was determined to win hearts of many.
On the album he managed to work with other musicians such as Willom Tight, Dino Mudondo, Phillip Svosve and many others.
