…All White dress code for burial

The late Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure is dictating what should be done at his funeral from the dead.
Organisers have since announced a dress code for his burial on Saturday with mourners expected to be dressed in all-white.
Ginimbi popularized all-white birthday parties in the country over the past decade.
Ginimbi’s sister Juliet told H-Metro yesterday that they are adhering to Ginimbi’s script.
She said the late flamboyant businessman told her what to do and not to do at his funeral and they are simply adhering to that.
Juliet said that has resulted in the family delaying Ginimbi’s burial to Saturday.
“He told what to do on his funeral, procedures to follow and that is what we are simply doing.
“Genius advised me against rushing his funeral proceedings. He said he wants his friends from as far as the UK and America to come without being pressurised. So we want to make him happy, so that is the reason we have set burial for Saturday, to make sure that we make him happy.
“This is a very difficult situation for us as a family, it’s been a difficult year for us. Genius was a very generous man and it’s a big loss to us,” said Juliet.
As revealed by H-Metro yesterday, Juliet reiterated that Ginimbi would be laid to rest at his mansion.
“He will be buried at his residence on Saturday,” she said.
She said, for now, mourners will be limited at Ginimbi’s residence since proceedings are going to take the whole week.
“It’s going to be a long week. This means we are going to limit people to enter his mansion for now because there is no enough space.
“So people will be gathered at his father’s residence and we will see what we can do to accommodate people here beginning Thursday,” said Juliet.
