DYNAMOS have turned their attention to the league and forward Nyasha Chintuli is confident of maximum points when they face Manica Diamonds in a re-arranged Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match today at Gibbo.
Both sides still have a chance of snatching the title from under Ngezi Platinum’s noses.
The Glamour Boys go into the match in second place, eight points behind the leaders, while Manica Diamonds are fifth, 10 points adrift of the pace.
Chintuli still believes the Harare giants are on the path to glory.
“In order for the team to win, goals have to be scored. It is our responsibility as forwards to make sure that it happens.
“However, if you look at different transitions of the game, you will find out that anyone can score and, so, the priority is to play as a team and try to get goals as a team.
“We always try to defend as a team as well.”
He added:
“The whole idea is about applying ourselves collectively.
“The important thing is to remain focused and not to keep on getting disappointing results.
“The promises we made to ourselves at the start of the season, I still believe that we have the chance and there are still a number of matches left to be played in which can see many upsets and I have confidence in our team.
“We have an exciting team that has depth in all departments, which makes us hopeful till the end.
“We can still achieve a lot this season and we are just focusing on every game as it comes.”
