WINDS of change are sweeping across the local showbiz landscape with the new crop of artists taking charge.
The likes of Holy Ten, Saintfloew, Voltz JT, Tamy Moyo and Enzo Ishall are making a killing on the showbiz landscape.
This crop of artists is now holding regular sold-out shows.
- CONFESSION OF THE WEEK
It’s quite encouraging when anti-drug abuse champions and survivors share their thoughts on how they conquered their demons.
Rapper Takura opened up on Star FM last weekend about how he survived.
The same applies to Tryson Chimbetu who opened up on his journey in rehabilitation.
Tryson is now in a better space and ready to save others.
This is the kind of spirit we expect from celebrities who erred in their lives.
- SUNGURA FOR LIFE
At a time when sungura appeared to have been eclipsed by other genres, superstar Alick Macheso should be hailed for uniting artists in this genre.
Tomorrow, he holds a big party at Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex where he is set to share the stage with various artists.
He has managed to unite feuding Tongai Moyo’s sons – Peter and Tongai Junior.
Macheso has also managed to unite Mark Ngwazi and his younger brother Tindo.
- MAMPARA OF THE WEEK
My task to crown the Moron Of The Week was made simple, thanks to television presenter, Nabeelah Jogee.
She made headlines after breaking up with her married boyfriend.
She then threatened to terminate her pregnancy.
She has also been tormenting her former boyfriend’s wife, which shows that she is a bully.
For her shenanigans, and lack of respect, we crown her the Mampara of the Week.
