DOEK & SLAY SET TO END ON HIGH NOTE

ORGANISERS of the much anticipated Doek and Slay say they are set to end the second term on a high note.

The women’s bandwagon will roll in Gweru Sports Club on Sunday with performances from Killer T and EXQ.

The organisers have been taking the show to all major cities for the past few months.

“It has been good moving from different cities to make sure that women are having a good time in their own space.

“We are ready for Gweru and it seems like the ladies are also ready for the party,” said one of the organisers.

Last Sunday saw Masvingo ladies wearing hot pink, lime green, royal blue doek, and some shades at Caravan Park.

Enzo Ishall, Feli Nandi, and Freeman are some of the artists who have been part of the event’s growth.

After the Gweru show, the Doek and Slay will return to Harare for the shutdown in December.

The party was subsequently taken to other parts of the country — Bulawayo, Mutare, Masvingo, Kadoma, and Gweru — where it was also a success.

Doek and Slay recorded a large turnout in Harare at Alex Sports Club last month.
