MUTARE-based gospel diva, Dorcas Moyo, says she is ready for her maiden tour of the United Kingdom later this month.
The songstress will perform at the Claremont Methodist church on October 15 in Leicester.
The show starts at 6pm.
In an interview with H-Metro, Dorcas could not hide her elation.
“The preparations are at an advanced stage.
“I have polished my act, I’m praying that the Lord intervenes to ensure there are no impediments to the trip.
“We keep praying that this will come to pass,” Dorcas said.
Dubbed “One-R-Chord”, Dorcas will be supported by other gospel artists like South-Africa based Carol Muzambi, Varaidzo Mhoka and UK-based Yeukai Washe.
“We have toured various countries in Africa but this is my inaugural show in Europe and, and the UK, in particular,” she said.
Dorcas said her fans should expect a blast from the tour.
“I am a versatile artist who can switch from worship to praise in a blink of an eye.
“So, the fans should expect a cocktail.
“As long as time permits, we shall worship and praise God till the fans are satisfied,” she added.
Dorcas said she was happy to be performing in a foreign land.
“I feel respected and honoured and all that I want is to minister to God’s people and make an impact in their lives,” said Dorcas.
Before she leaves for the UK, she will on Saturday perform in Zvishavane at Kandodo Hall.
