A TRUCK driver, who made headlines after acquiring two birth certificates for his daughter, has been summoned to court.
Samuel Dhokotera is expected to appear before a traditional chief over witchcraft allegations and non-payment of lobola.
Samuel, a Johanne Marange church member, was reported to not have paid lobola for his estranged third wife Priscilla Mupfukudzwa during the six years they lived together.
They separated in 2013.
Priscilla’s father, Chisiyiwa Mupfukudzwa, 78, approached a traditional court demanding lobola.
In the other case Samuel, together with his fourth wife Ariyena Muchirahondo, stand accused of witchcraft and abusing his 15-year-old daughter.
Samuel and Ariyena are expected to appear before Chief Chinamhora on Sunday.
“I am appearing before this honourable court demanding lobola from my son in-law Samuel Dhokotera.
“He separated from my daughter but they have children,” said Chisiyiwa.
Samuel did not attend attend yestersday’s court session.
On the witchcraft allegations, Dhokotera’s other wife, Rumbidzai, told court that she has been experiencing a non-stop menstruation period.
She lost a number of her panties and has developed a growth on her private parts.
“This court will only hear the matter when Samuel, the father of the daughter, together with his wives, appear before the court,” said Chief Chinamhora.
