Prince Dube rose to the occasion and shine for the Warriors in their 3-1 win over Mauritius in the CHAN 2020 qualifiers at Barbourfields on Sunday.
Dube scored a hat trick. He was on target in the 16th, 67th and 83rd minute.
The Warriors had won 4-0 in Mauritius in their first leg and won 7-1 on aggregate will now face Lesotho.
The Highlanders striker was over the moon said he has been dreaming of moments like these in his career.
“I want to thank the Lord and the coaches for giving me this opportunity to showcase my talent.
“And coming to the goals that I have scored, I have been waiting for this moment.
“It has been a long journey for me and scoring these goals can help me boost my confidence,” he said.
The star is also part of Coach Tonderai Ndiraya’s Under 23 AFCON qualifiers squad who face South Africa.
