FORMER Boys DzeSmoko bass guitarist Anywell Taruvinga, is seriously ill and badly in need of a helping hand.
The artist was allegedly dumped by close relatives before he was found by his friend, Willard “Willo” Loti, who was part of the late Tongai Moyo’s band, Utakataka Express.
He has since been taken to Chitungwiza Central Hospital. “I contacted him two weeks before he got sick, saying that he was in Gwanda,” said Loti.
“He told me that he was abandoned by some close people, who I cannot mention by names, since they are respected people.
“He told me that he was staying with someone in Chitungwiza and said he was living in poverty, when he was in Gwanda. We have been friends since 1999 he was a bass guitarist for System Tazvida’s group.
“I found him dumped in a bushy area in Chitungwiza, he was not even able to walk before I took him to Chitungwiza Central Hospital.
“I am pleading with well-wishers to come and assist this man. He is in need of medicines and money to settle the bills at the hospital.
