POPULAR fast-food restaurant, Eat n’ Lick, had its property attached by the Sheriff after failing to settle a debt of US$65 000 owed to a potato supplier.

The company, which trades as Golden Crust (Pvt) Limited, was issued with a High Court order obtained against it by Zatex Investments Private Limited, for non-payment of the debt.

After paying off just US$20 000 towards the judgment debt, a balance of US$45 000 was still owing and subsequently led to the Sheriff attaching the company’s property at its head office along Chinhoyi Street on Wednesday.

The case was heard before Justice Jacob Manzunzu.
