ZIMDANCEHALL artist Enzo Ishall appears to have made a U-turn on his decision to quit music.

The Mabvuku-bred chanter shocked his fans last September when he announced he was quitting music to concentrate on other business ventures.

He dropped the song Ehee, during the same period, which he said was his last track, before hanging the microphone.

However, many critics claimed Enzo either wanted sympathy from the public or it was just a publicity stunt, aimed at propping up the chanter’s products.

It now appears the critics got it right as the Kanjiva singer dropped a new song on Unity Day.

Titled Siki, the song was produced by Oskid, and he has been performing it at different shows, including the Kingfisher Braai Out on New Year’s Day.

Contacted for comment, on whether he has had a change of mind, Enzo said: “I can’t comment on that issue but you should talk to my management because the issue is sensitive.”

A member of his management was evasive when contacted for comment.

“We have decided to lay low for now because we are making sure Enzo is well taken care of, getting help and should not be depressed again,” said the insider.

Enzo was signed up by Passion Java, who owns Passion Java Records, in 2019.

However, their relationship soured when he was snapped up by ambitious Teemak Promotions, who handed him a three-year contract.

Their marriage collapsed amid reports the young promoter’s music promotion business had crumbled.
