FC Platinum Captain Gift Bello said they want to improve their away record when they travel to Nichrut tomorrow in the Midlands derby.
The log leaders have been dominant in their home games but inconsistent away, losing twice and drawing twice in their five away games of the second half.
They have won one away game in the second half of the season, a narrow 1-0 victory over Bulawayo City.
Bello, however, said they are going into the match with a cautious approach especially because they are playing a team fighting relegation.
“We want to start changing the history of not winning our away games.
“This will be our starting page since we are targeting a win at all costs.
“I am positive that we are going to attract a positive result from this game. It will be tough since we are playing a relegation fighting team but we will do our best to win,” said Bello.
The former Dynamos defender said they have put their house in order, hence, they are expecting to score goals like they do at home in this away fixture.
FC Platinum have scored 16 goals at home while scoring four goals in their away matches in the second half.
“We haven’t been scoring in our away games like we are doing at home but I am optimistic that we will see goals this weekend.
“We have been working on it and I am sure more goals will come, we will do better.
“We want to have consistency in our winning ways, to such a point where we will be winning all our games both home and away,” he added.
The centre back said they are targeting to win their next three games and retain the championship.
“For now we have to win our next three games, without failure and we will take it from there,” he said.
