NQOBIZITA Ncube, Evans Gwekwerere, Edward Sadomba, Elvis Meleka and Nathan Ziwini in a battle royale.
They are saying it’s one of the biggest games on the social football scene and it explodes into life tomorrow at Alex Sports Club.
It pits Jameson Boys versus Diaspora FC, a club that was founded by former Warriors defender, David Kutyauripo.
Jameson Boys was founded by the directors of former Premiership side, Lengthens, who include John Chikochi.
Ironically, Meleka and Ziwini were playing for Jameson Boys in the first half of the Harare Super League season. However, they crossed the floor to join Diaspora after Kudakwashe “Bla Kays” Chigumira also switched clubs.
Both clubs have been in fine form.
“It’s the game of the season,” said Jameson Boys director of football, Gladman “Dallas” Sekawawana.
“We had to plan for it at the farm during the Heroes Holiday because we didn’t want any distractions.
“It will be fireworks and there are good incentives for the players as well.”
Former PSL fixtures secretary, Godfrey Japajapa, is the director of football at Diaspora.
“There will be three match officials, instead of the usual one referee because it’s a big match,” he said.
“It’s been the talk of the league and our prayers are that fair play will prevail and the better team will win.”
Meanwhile MWOS and Chegutu Pirates will clash in a Challenge Match at Pfupajena tomorrow.
