RAPPER Felexi “Flexi J” Juru says he has embarked on a mission to tackle marital and love issues through music.
The Marondera-based artiste has previously tackled child abuse issues in song, including Jemedza in which he featured Roki.
“I released a single titled Honeymoon in March, which happens to be my birthday month.
“The song coincided with Women’s Month and it’s about expressing love to one’s partner right after the wedding ceremony, hence promoting the union of two becoming one.
“I was inspired to tackle this theme by fact that only a few artistes sing about positive marital issues, it’s usually the negative ones all the way.”
Added Flexi J:
“ e song is a collaboration with one of my fellow youths (Erie the Baddest) and it features Marondera’s queen of soul, Afrikka. “ e song’s video will be released in winter. I have another winter present for my fans, they should just brace themselves and wait.
e song was produced at F1 Records by Rashood. Flexi’s first professional recording was in 2009 when he did a 12 track mixtape titled Am Here before doing a collabo album with Exile titled Fresh From the Diaper in 2012.
