FOR PRECIOUS, BEING A PHILANTHROPIST IS A BIG PART OF PART OF HER LIFE

IF Precious Sibalo was just an ordinary woman, she would have quietly celebrated her remarkable rise from being a mere waitress to a commercial pilot, lived her life quietly in Dubai and continues to clock the hours in the air to become a pilot at Qatar Airways.

But, she is not an ordinary woman.

She wants to inspire other Zimbabwean women and that is why she started the Precious Wings Mentorship Foundation.

“Our mission is to uplift underprivileged children by providing essential resources, education, and support to help them dream and thrive,” she says.

“Together, we can create opportunities and bring hope to those who need it most.”

Precious is also a philanthropist, mentor and motivational speaker.

She has graced such important conferences like the African Women Summit and has been donating school uniforms, books and sanitary ware to her former school in Plumtree, Bulawayo and Harare.

Last month, her team donated sanitary pads and Christmas gifts.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to @CHIDERA, aka CHICHI, and her amazing team in Harare for their generous donation of sanitary pads, Christmas gifts.

“Your support has truly brightened lives this festive season.

“We deeply appreciate your collaboration with the Precious Wings Mentorship Foundation.

“Together we are sowing seeds of hope and transforming lives, one step at a time.

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap – Luke 6:38.

“May God bless you abundantly for your love and kindness.”

She added;

“It’s sad to learn that most girls end up using unconventional materials like old clothes, mattresses etc because they have no access to sanitary pads.

“Using such substitutes can lead to several negative effects on health and hygiene.

“Donating school uniforms, stationery and paying school fees for the less privileged has a transformative impact on the child and the community.

“It unlocks numerous opportunities and reduces dropout rates.

“Most of these children struggling to pay school fees are orphans who stay with their grandparents who no longer have any source of income.”
