AFRO pop musician, Gemma Griffiths, says she is elated ahead of her maiden countrywide tour.
The six-week tour is meant to promote her last album titled ‘A Girl From Harare.’
Speaking to H-Metro, through her manager Taponeswa, Gemma said:
“The Harare date is super important to me.
“My band and I are over the moon to be performing in so many places for the first time,” she said.
Gemma recently kick-started her tour in Vic Falls where she performed at the Carnival.
She has promised her fans fireworks.
“I’m promising my fans the very best of me on live performance.
“I have a nationwide tour stretching over six weeks, covering Mutare (May 27), Harare (May 28), Kwekwe (May 14), Gweru (June 4), Bulawayo (May 7), Vic Falls and Hwange.
“It’s going to be amazing!
“On different dates, I will be joined by a number of incredible artists, including Nutty O, Dj Tamuka, Holy Ten, Winky D, Voltz JT and many more.”
Meanwhile, on social media, she has alerted her fans in the City of Kings to prepare for the show to be held on Saturday.
“Bulawayo, I am practicing my Ndebele! I hope I keep getting better and better.
“I am performing this Saturday at Boundary Bar, Queens Sports Club.”
Gemma has been building her name since the days she introduced herself to the public with a rendition of Musarova Bigman by Winky D.
She has done several projects, including featuring on the hit, MuGarden by Winky D.
She has been also making headlines regionally on several television shows.
